Sometimes it is better to enjoy your talent and perform the art within, so the world of squash can just enjoy whatever Hisham produces.

I feel Hisham is the master of his own destiny in the world of squash and he alone, if he wants to will push more boundaries and entertain himself and us with his skills.

To think he has to be at the top elite of the game for to have made a mark to me is wrong. He is already known for what he does and Alah will and Hisham will take him where he's to go with squash.

In the Australian Open 2011, Karim Darwish(EGY) vs Max Lee(HK, Karim Darwish elbowed Max Lee deliberately when Max Lee was trying to ask for a Let. This can be seen during the slow motion replay and the referees did not do anything about it as they did not see it happen. But the commentators saw it thru the replay and were commenting on Karim Darwish's lack of sportsmanship. He eventually lost that set.

Turns out they're covering it now, even from the first round. Sorry to have made you shift the banner down! Bet365 is good, though sometimes a bit slack at communicating what they will cover. I remember a similar thing happening earlier in the year.

Good point. It looks like they are not covering the Australian Open, at least for sure not the first round. I'll keep an eye on them to see if they will transmit form the quarter finals... In the meantime I'll put their banner down the page as long as it does not turn out that they keep care for squash too. Cheers T

Those two always tries to hit the ball, even if they have to go around the opponent.
After watching that, late 90's matchs with (jansheer, rodney, jp, ...) became so painfull to watch.

Squash has really improved as spectacle.

About TOC, Ramy had always done well there. I remmeber an epic semi against palmer (2008). Ramy finished the last 3 points with only nicks.

He has such an impressive retrieving, that he is never affraid to go for those crazy shots.

What I like about this is that Shabana's shot actually end up quite close physically to Willstrop, but because the deception was so effective and Willstrop had committed his momentum to the left it was a winner.

I have watched this match, but I felt that Palmer had a point. Maybe Gaultier might not be a blocker, but on this particular match it felt that he was always complaining and being a little slow clearing the ball sometimes. I am not sure whether he intentionally blocked Palmer's way but it does feel like Palmer had a right to complain. And he did complain to the referees just before this rally. I think even the referee's agreed and just gave a let.

As the years have gone by, he has had it nearly coached out of him to volley if it is there to hit.

Baffling how Ramy does it but speaking to him before, he's said, it's like reading a good book, he's able to read an opponent before they play a shot, where they are in relation to him and just be free in his mind to do it. :)
